The Milton Keynes 0-19 Children’s Universal Health Services can support you with your child’s wellbeing. Staff consist of health visitors, school nurses, staff nurses, nursery nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrators. Health visitors and school nurses are all qualified nurses or midwives who have undertaken specialist training in public health, child development, and health needs assessment.
You can call them on 01908 725100 Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 4:30pm where there is a duty health visitor/school nurse available to speak to you and help and support you. The service can help with:
- Feeding/colic
- Growth and Development
- Sleeping
- Behaviour
- Toileting
- Postnatal depression
- Advising on minor illness, home safety, safer sleep, and accident prevention
- Speech, language, and communication
